Using navaids (VORs, NDBs, etc.) in the Route field

From ZuluLog Wiki
Jump to: navigation, search

ZuluLog has a database of thousands of navaids around the world. When your route of flight includes a navaid, you can enter it using an underscore followed by the navaid code.

For example, if you flew from Kennedy Airport in New York to the Grissom VORTAC in Indiana to LAX in California, you would enter this as your route of flight:

JFK _GUS LAX

When you map the flight or look at the Distance column on the Flight Viewer, your total route and distance will reflect all known airports and navaids along your route.
