In addition to the explicit Operational Parameters checkboxes described in the
previous tutorial, you can also add implicit currency adherence restrictions
based on route of flight.
Example: You want to restrict your pilots from creating schedules to
KHAF unless they're current on the Night Cross-Country custom currency.
Setup:
- Edit the applicable custom currency definition and add the exact text
[sch_restrict][restrict_airp=KHAF] to the Description field.
Operation:
- Unlike in the previous example, there is no new "Operational Parameters" section
on the Schedule Entry screen.
- Instead, before saving the schedule entry, the system will check the
airports in the Route field. If the Route contains KHAF and the
Night Cross-Country currency is not met, the save is disallowed.
- Note that administrators can still schedule pilots as desired.
